Utah woman dies in Wyoming motorcycle crash
A Vernal woman died Thursday, two days after she was thrown from a motorcycle in Wyoming.Amy Hansen, 38, and Ronald Hansen, 47, were heading north on U.S. Route 191 when he tried passing two pick-up trucks about 39 miles north of Pinedale, Wyo., according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol. WHP Sgt. Stephen Townsend did not know the relationship between the Hansens.The second pick-up truck was pulling into the right shoulder while the truck in front of it was turning left into a private drive when Ronald Hansen moved into the southbound lane to pass them. But he crashed into the front quarter panel of the left-turning truck, which threw Amy Hansen from the motorcycle, according to the highway patrol.
