Hutchinson, KS : Three hurt in Finney County crash on Wednesday, February 15th 2017

Three people were injured in a crash Wednesday afternoon on U.S. 50 in Finney County.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash log, Nicholas P. Lang, 36, of Garden City, was driving a sport utility vehicle westbound on U.S. 50 8 miles east of U.S. 83, while Jonathan N. Ibarra, 23, of Garden City, was driving behind Lang.

At 4:30 p.m., Lang stopped to make a left turn and the pickup struck the SUV.

Lang, Ibarra and Raymond Romero, 46, of Garden City – a passenger in the pickup – were all injured in the crash. Lang refused medical transport, and Ibarra and Romero were taken to St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.

All three were using seat belts at the time of the crash, KHP reported.
