Grand Forks, N.D : Grand Forks man injured after two-vehicle crash on Tuesday, March 21, 2017

A Grand Forks man was transported to Altru Hospital Tuesday following a two-vehicle collision at First Avenue North and North Washington Street. Officers from the Grand Forks Police Department responded to the scene at 3:08 p.m.
According to a news release, a Grand Forks juvenile was driving a Pontiac north on Washington Street and struck a Toyota driven by Daniel Oshea, 84, as he was turning south onto Washington Street from the east side of the intersection. Airbags deployed in both vehicles, the release stated.
Oshea was taken to Altru Hospital and also was cited for failure to yield at a controlled intersection, according to the release. The nature of his injuries has not been disclosed.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The intersection was shut down for about 45 minutes while the scene was investigated.
The Grand Forks Fire Department also responded to the crash.
