Bronson, FL : Fanning Springs man dies in a single-car crash on U.S. 19 in Levy County on Wednesday, February 24, 2016

A 36-year-old Fanning Springs man died Wednesday following a single-car crash on U.S. 19 in Levy County.

The Florida Highway Patrol identified the crash victim as David D. Ables.

At about 12:15 p.m., Ables was driving a 2012 Chevy Malibu south on U.S. 19 and veered left across the grassy median and across the northbound lanes, according an FHP media release. The car went into a ditch and hit a concrete culvert at 12751 N. U.S. 19.

It flipped over and ended up on its roof.
