CLEAR SPRING, MD : One person taken to hospital after tractor-trailer crash closes I-70 on Wednesday, 21st August 2019

Both lanes of eastbound Interstate 70 west of Clear Spring opened at about 5:30 p.m. after a tractor-trailer crash on Wednesday morning.

An ambulance crew took one person to Meritus Medical Center near Hagers- town with what appeared to be injuries that were not life-threatening, according to a state police spokesman.

The crash, which happened about 8:05 a.m. near the 15-mile marker, involved another vehicle and the tractor-trailer, according to a state police news release.
