Pickens,SC : Pickens County deputy crash patrol car trying to avoid an animal in the road on Friday night July 18th 2014.

A Pickens County deputy was involved in an accident on Friday night.The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the driver ran into a mailbox and a tree after swerving to avoid hitting an animal on Shady Grove Road in Pickens County around 10:45 p.m.Troopers said the deputy was treated for minor injuries.No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
