September 25 2016
A fatal accident that happened over the weekend is still under investigation by the Malheur County Sheriff’s Office
The single-vehicle crash occurred early Sunday morning on Lytle Boulevard, just north of Enterprise Avenue, said Malheur County Sheriff Brian Wolfe.
Johnathon Anderson, 19, of Nyssa, was pronounced dead at the scene, Wolfe said. The 2000 Toyota pickup was on its side when officers arrived, he said.
Another person in the vehicle was transported from the scene by helicopter to an unknown medical facility.
Wolfe told the Argus this morning that he was unable to determine who the driver of the vehicle was, as not all the reports had been turned in yet. The investigators know, he said, adding that investigation would be continuing for some time.
Local agencies that assisted the Sheriff’s Office Sunday include, Nyssa Police Department, Nyssa Fire Department, Oregon State Police and Treasure Valley Paramedics.
