One person was killed in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 26 early Sunday, according to authorities.
The crash happened around 3 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-26 near mile marker 119, according to Lance Cpl. Matt Southern of the S.C. Highway Patrol.
A 2016 Hyundai was traveling west in the eastbound lanes when it crashed into an eastbound Mack tractor-trailer, Southern said.
Both vehicles then ran off the right side of I-26 East and caught fire, Southern said. The driver of the Hyundai was killed.
