Ohio County, KY : 44-year-old David Bailey died in a car accident on Kentucky 54 near the Ohio/Daviess County line on Tuesday night, Sep 29, 2015

Kentucky State Police have released the name of the man killed in a car accident Tuesday night in Ohio County.

44-year-old David Bailey of Dunmor was headed west on Kentucky 54 near the Ohio/Daviess County line.

Troopers say for unknown reasons, Bailey ran off the right side of the roadway, over-corrected, and hit a dry creek bed head-on.

The Ohio County Coroner says Bailey died at the scene.

That section of Highway 54 was shut down for a few hours as troopers re-constructed the accident.
