MARION COUNTY, FL : 3 killed in Marion County crash on Thursday, 1st February 2024

Three people were killed and a fourth was taken to the hospital in critical condition after a crash Thursday afternoon in Marion County that involved a stolen sheriff’s office patrol vehicle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol and Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said that around 2 p.m., they responded to a “suspicious incident” at the Forest Plaza in Silver Springs, where a woman — identified as Kendra Boone, 33 — had tried to take an elderly woman’s keys.
