Waite Park, MN : 1 seriously injured in collision on Minnesota Highway 23 and Bel Clare Drive on Wendesday, August 31, 2016

One person was seriously injured Wednesday in a collision involving an all-terrain vehicle, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The report said the collision took place at 4:12 p.m. at Minnesota Highway 23 and Bel Clare Drive, just west of Waite Park.

Brice Held, 51, of St. Cloud, was driving a Polaris Ranger east on Bel Clare Drive attempting to cross Highway 23 when he collided with a westbound Buick LeSabre driven by John Thielen, 80, of St. Cloud, according to the report.

The report said Held suffered serious injuries. Thielen and his passenger had no apparent injuries.
