Bell County, TX : Driver hospitalized after tractor trailer crashes, catches fire on I-35 in Temple on Thursday morning, March 10, 2016
A semi crashed and caught on fire on I-35 Thursday morning.
According to Temple Fire & Rescue, the crash occurred on southbound I-35 at mile marker 300 shortly after 6:45 a.m. Thursday morning.
A DPS Trooper witnessed the crash and was able to assist the semi-truck driver from his vehicle. The driver was then transported to the hospital by Scott and White EMS.
An environmental contractor from Waco is responding to provide clean-up of diesel and other fluids.
Southbound I-35 is reduced to one lane. To avoid traffic delays, use HK Dodgen Loop (Loop 363) as an alternate route.
