Pregnant woman involved in a Phoenix Crash
An expectant mother was treated and released from a local hospital after the van she was in was struck by a stolen pickup truck late Wednesday night.
Phoenix police said the driver of the stolen truck crossed lanes and struck the van carrying two women head-on at Ninth Avenue and McDowell Road.
The driver of the van suffered a broken leg and was taken to a hospital.
A man and woman in the truck ran but were caught in a neighborhood south of the crash scene, police said.
The pregnant woman was taken to the hospital as a precaution, police said.
No other information was immediately available.
