Preble, IN : Driver killed in Adams County crash on Wednesday, March 2, 2016

Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened in Adams County on Wednesday.

Adams County sheriff’s deputies were called to Winchester Road north of County Road 550 North just after 6 p.m. where they found a single-vehicle crash. The driver – the lone occupant in the vehicle – was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a release from the sheriff’s department.

Investigators have not released the identity of the driver.

No other details were released, including what caused the crash or what exactly happened.

The crash is under investigation, according to the sheriff’s department.

Along with sheriff’s deputies, the Preble Fire Department, Monroe Rescue, Adams County EMS and Indiana State Police were also sent to the scene.

Indiana State Police and the Adams County coroner are investigating the crash.
