Honolulu,HI : Elderly pedestrian critically injured in School Street crash on January, Wednesday 17th 2018

An elderly woman was critically injured Wednesday after being struck by a car on School Street.

EMS officials say the woman was in her 70s or 80s. She suffered injuries to her head and leg.

Westbound lanes of School Street at the Houghtailing intersection were closed while officers investigated.

The accident happened just before 4:30 p.m.
