Kraft Street reopens after it was shut down following a wreck that took out power lines

Part of Kraft Street was closed Wednesday morning after a tractor trailer ran off the road and hit a pole Tuesday night, taking down power lines.

The wreck happened at about 10:20 p.m. Tuesday night near Smithfield Manufacturing, according to a Clarksville Police Department press release.

Crews were on the scene Wednesday morning, as police officers directed traffic to Eight Street on one side.

No information about the driver of the truck or whether power service was interrupted was immediately available
