McCracken, KY :Crash Causes Lane Closure on I-24 on Tuesday, July 7th 2015

Crews are working to make repairs after a multi-vehicle crash brought down some power lines in the area early Monday morning.All lanes of I-24 were closed for a time, but all westbound lanes have now been reopened. Eastbound lanes of I-24 at the 7 mile marker are down to one lane as police and power crews try to clear traffic and make repairs.McCracken 911 Dispatch indicates police and utility crews could be working in this area for the next couple of hours. Traffic may be slowed in order to remove vehicles and repair utility lines.Drivers are encouraged to use caution when driving through this area.
