Four people were killed in a crash in Lincoln County on Friday night.
Residents said the crash happened about 11 p.m. on U.S. Highway 84 and Watts Lane.
Investigators said a Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling east on U.S. 84 when a Dodge Stratus traveling south on Watts Lane attempted to cross the highway.
Officials said the pickup truck struck the right side of the car.
The driver of the pickup truck, Donald Dickerson, 40, of Brookhaven, was taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center with moderate injuries. Two passengers in the truck, Shawn Williams, 23, of Wesson, and Aireona Allison, also 23, of Boque Chitto, were injured.
Williams was taken to King's Daughters Medical Center with moderate injuries, and Allison was taken to UMMC with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car, Dustin Hall, 17, of Boque Chitto, was taken to UMMC with life-threatening injuries. Two passengers, Ricky Williams, 22, and Linza Black, 18, both of Brookhaven, were also injured. Williams was taken to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center, and Black was taken to KDMC.
The four victims who died in the crash were also in the car. They were identified as Nicholas King, 19, and Faith White, 16, both of Brookhaven, and Kylee McCord, 17, and Curtis Gunnel, 17, both of Boque Chitto.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck.
