San Jose, CA : Man killed in a motorcycle accident in Santa Clara County on Sunday afternoon, May 15, 2016

The Santa Clara County Coroner's office has identified the San Jose man who died Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in unincorporated Santa Clara County as 28-year-old Victor Hernandez.

The crash was first reported at 5:40 p.m. on Black Road near the intersection with Skyline Boulevard (U.S. Highway 35), according to CHP Officer Eric Anderson. Hernandez lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a tree, according to the CHP.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, though the CHP does not believe alcohol played a factor.
