Davenport, IA : Semi crash on I-80 in Scott County on Friday, 28th October, 2016

At 7 a.m.: Westbound I-80 traffic is still down to one lane near the Bettendorf/LeClaire border because of a semi crash.

Traffic is moving very slowly in this area and drivers should avoid the area if possible.

At: 6:30 a.m.: Crew are still working to remove a semi that has westbound I-80 traffic reduced to a one lane near Wells Ferry Road.

One person reportedly died in the single-vehicle crash.

The crash remains under investigation.

At 4:30 a.m.: Emergency crews are on a scene of a semi crash on Interstate 80 between Bettendorf and LeClaire.

Westbound I-80 traffic has been reduced to one lane through the crash site.

Drivers should avoid the area if possible.
