LOUISVILLE, KY : I-64 East at Cochran Hill Tunnel reopens after deadly crash on Wednesday, 17th January 2024

I-64 East at Cochran Hill Tunnel is back open after a deadly early Wednesday morning crash.

Police said the crash happened around 5:30 a.m. and involved multiple vehicles, including two semi trucks, a garbage truck, and two cars. The vehicles were all headed east when they crashed into each other, causing a large fire. Police said they aren’t sure what caused the crash.
