Missoula, MT : An 82-year-old woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash at Allen Creek Road On Thursday, July 28th, 2016

An 82-year-old woman was killed when a truck went off a mountain road east of Missoula on Thursday evening.

Sharlene Beck of Clinton was a passenger in a Ford F-150 driven by an 85-year-old man. The crash occurred about 10 miles up Allen Creek Road, which is a rural Forest Service road, according to the Montana Highway

Patrol.

The roadway narrowed, and the vehicle went off the right side at about 5 p.m., according to the Highway Patrol. The vehicle rolled and came to rest about 150 feet down the side of the mountain, according to the report. Neither

was wearing a seat belt. The woman was pronounced dead on the scene while the man was taken to St. Patrick Hospital with head lacerations.

Neither alcohol, drugs nor speed is suspected to be a factor in the crash. It is the 101st road fatality investigated by the Montana Highway Patrol this year.
