WICHITA, KS : Hit-and-run in East Wichita leaves a pedestrian in critical condition on Sunday, 10th March 2024

A pedestrian has been critically injured in an east Wichita hit-and-run Sunday evening. The crash occurred at the intersection of East 17th Street North and North Grove Street.

WPD Sergeant Paul Kimble says the vehicle fled the scene before police arrived. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital.

“We’re looking for cameras or anyone that might have that information, we’re still talking to people and witnesses,” said Kimble.

The investigation is ongoing. Sergeant Kimble says anyone with information regarding this incident should call WPD.
