ESTERO, FL : Bicyclist injured in hit-and-run crash on Three Oaks Parkway on Friday, 4th December, 2020

A bicyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Three Oaks Parkway on Friday morning.

Lee County deputies and troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash, located on Three Oaks Parkway at Copperleaf Boulevard at 6:15 a.m.

The bicyclist, a 72-year-old man from Canada, was riding south on Three Oaks Parkway when the front portion of a vehicle collided with the back of the man’s bike.

The driver kept driving southbound on Three Oaks Parkway after hitting the man.
