A Janesville man was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash south of Janesville, officials said.

Emergency crews responded around 8:15 a.m. to reports of a two-vehicle crash on South County Road G about a quarter-mile north of East Sunny Lane in Rock Township, according to a release.

A 2000 GMC Sierra C1500 driven by a 62-year-old Beloit man was going north on County Road G when the driver lost control of the vehicle on slippery roads as it crossed a bridge, investigators said. The truck slid into the southbound lane and hit a southbound 2013 Kia Rio, being driven by a 53-year-old Janesville man, head on.
