Seattle , WA :Driver killed as car crashes at high speed, bursts into flames along I-5 on Sunday , June 14th 2015

A driver was killed early Sunday when a car crashed at high speed and burst into flames near the intersection of Interstate 5 and Interstate 90 in Seattle, the Washington State Patrol reports.State troopers responded to the scene at about 3:15 a.m. after receiving reports of a serious crash.A preliminary investigation found that the car, a 2008 Honda Accord, was heading south on I-5 and took the exit to eastbound I-90 at high speed.The car slammed into the concrete jersey barrier, then slid along the barrier and plowed into a light pole before veering off the roadway, down an embankment and hitting a tree.As the car came to rest under I-90, it burst into flames. The driver was trapped inside and later died.
