Davie, FL : Fatal crash on the Davie Boulevard overpass to Interstate 95 on Friday, 22nd November, 2019

One person was killed and two others hospitalized in a three-vehicle crash on the Davie Boulevard overpass to Interstate 95 Friday morning.
Helicopter images broadcast by South Florida Sun Sentinel news partner Univision showed an SUV on top of another vehicle.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Stephen Gollan said one person had to be extricated from a car and “one car doesn’t even look like a car.”
The crash happened about 4:20 a.m., said Fort Lauderdale police spokeswoman Casey Liening. Commuters were detoured from Davie Boulevard’s access ramps to I-95 for more than five hours.
One driver died at the scene; two others were taken to Broward Health Medical Center and are expected to survive, Liening said.
