Lincoln County, MS : One person killed in crash on US 84 near the Franklin County line on Thursday night, May 26, 2016

On Thursday night, James Kimbrough, of Mount Olive was traveling west on US 84 in a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado in Lincoln County near the Franklin County line.

According to Corporal Brandon Fortenberry with MHP, the car ran off the roadway to the right and flipped several times ejected the driver from the vehicle. It then crashed into an electrical pole.

Kimbrough was pronounced dead on scene.

The accident is still under investigation.
