Camden, NY : Man injured in a rollover crash in Oneida County on Tuesday, May 3, 2016

A Camden man was injured in a rollover crash around 9:57 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.

Shane Farr, 27, was operating his 2013 Dodge pickup truck north on Preston Hill Road in Camden when he became distracted and the vehicle crossed the center line of the roadway and traveled off the road, deputies said.

The truck traveled along the far side of the guide rail and then struck the guide rail and overturned, deputies said.

Farr received an injury to his shoulder and was transported via AmCare ambulance to Rome Memorial Hospital for treatment, deputies said.

State police and the Camden Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Farr is to appear at Camden Town Court for failing to keep right, no seat belt, aggravated unlicensed operation and other vehicle traffic law infractions, deputies said.
