One driver suffered moderate injuries after a two-vehicle crash early Saturday in Knox County.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol report said that Jerry A. Schuler, 56, was driving west on Mockingbird Street in a 2009 Ford Fusion. Willard Otto, 58, was driving east in a 1995 GMC Sierra pickup truck. The two vehicles collided on the narrow gravel road about three miles south of Novelty about 7:50 a.m.

Both vehicles were considered total losses.

Schuler was wearing a seat belt and reported moderate injuries. He was flown by Air Evac to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.

Otto was not wearing a seat belt and reported no injuries.
