Raleigh, N.C : 32-year-old woman died in a truck-motorcycle crash on Rock Quarry road on Wednesday afternoon, February 4, 2015
A motorcyclist was killed Thursday in a crash on Rock Quarry Road just north of the Interstate 40 interchange.
Raleigh police said Belsazar Toledo-Garcia, 38, was driving north on Rock Quarry Road when he attempted to turn left into the flea market in the 1400 block of the road.
Pamela Melody Butler, 32, was traveling south on Rock Quarry Road when she collided with Toledo-Garcia's 2001 Ford truck, police said.
Butler died at the scene, police said.
The accident occurred near the entrance to the Wake County Schools bus maintenance facility.
Raleigh police charged Toledo-Garcia with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, driving without a license and unsafe movement.
He was taken to the Wake County Detention Center.
Traffic was impacted for about three hours.
