One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash near 28th and Farnam streets Friday morning.
Police were called to the crash scene around 11 a.m. after a white Ford StarCraft transport vehicle owned by Covenant Care and a white pickup truck collided.
Officials said the transport vehicle was traveling north on 28th Street and came to a stop for a red light at Farnam Street. When the light turned green, the driver entered the intersection and was struck on the passenger's side by the pickup, which was traveling west.
Police said the pickup is owned by McGill Equipment and the driver ran a red light.
The driver of the transport vehicle was taken to CHI Bergan Mercy Medical Center for minor treatments and the passenger was taken to CHI Creighton for broken arms, legs and a neck injury. Authorities said the passenger is expected to be OK
Police are investigating but did say a citation is pending for the driver of the pickup truck.
