Jacksonville, FL : One person died, four injured in SUV crash in North Jacksonville on Monday night, Oct 12, 2015

One person is dead and four people are hospitalized, including an infant, after a Monday night crash in North Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said that a dark colored Chevy Suburban was traveling eastbound on Airport Center Drive when the driver lost control, crossed over the median and crashed into a white SUV.

Both the driver and passenger of the Suburban were ejected from the car. The passenger died and the driver ran away from the scene. He was apprehended shortly after and is now in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two adults and an infant were inside the white SUV. They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There are no charges at this point, and police are not saying if they know what caused the driver of the Suburban to lose control.
