Las Vegas, NV : Two people killed and three injured in tour bus crash on Friday January 22 2016
A court hearing was reset to March 17 in Las Vegas for a man charged with driving drunk and on drugs when he slammed a car into a sightseeing tour bus, killing two and injuring three last Labor Day weekend.
Defense attorney Steven Yeager said Friday he's preparing for an unrelated trial and needed to reschedule Thursday's preliminary hearing for Jonathan Carrington Donner.
Prosecutor Brian Rutledge didn't oppose the delay.
He's accused of having more than 2.5 times the legal limit of alcohol, plus cocaine residue and the painkiller hydrocodone in his system at the time of the Sept. 5 crash.
The tour driver and a German tourist died, and a German woman and a couple from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, were badly injured.
