Dartmouth, MA : Two students injured after single-car crash on State Road on Saturday, November 12, 2016

Two University of Massachusetts Dartmouth students were taken to Rhode Island Hospital around 1 a.m. Saturday after their car hit a utility pole on State Road, according to a statement from Dartmouth police.

The driver, Mustafa Alkhatatbeh, and his passenger, Harrianne Errie, both 19 years old, were listed in stable condition as of about 6:45 a.m. They had been traveling in a 2003 Toyota Camry near Arcadia Avenue when the car hit a pole.

Police and emergency personnel responded to the scene at approximately 12:50 a.m. Crash reconstruction experts from the Dartmouth Police Department are investigating.
