Spring Hill, FL : Woman died when she lost control of her pickup truck, overturning and striking a tree on Saturday morning August 2nd 2014

A New Port Richey woman was killed Saturday morning in Spring Hill when she lost control of her pickup truck, overturning and striking a tree. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 45-year-old Laurie Pinson was driving a 2004 Nissan Frontier eastbound on State Road 50, west of U.S. Highway 19, in the eastbound lane just before 7 a.m. when she left the roadway for unknown reasons. Pinson returned to the roadway but over-corrected, the FHP said, rotating before overturning. The car’s roof struck a tree, the FHP said, and Pinson died at the scene.
