Plymouth, MA : 15 Sent to Hospital After West Plymouth Elementary School Bus Crash on Thursday, January 8, 2015

Plymouth officials say 15 elementary school students have been sent to hospitals as a precaution after a school bus accident, but none of the injuries is serious.

Authorities say the bus was carrying about 35 students from West Elementary School when it collided with a car on Carver Road at about 3:45 p.m. Thursday. The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Some students were taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth and others were brought to South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth.

School officials say they notified all the parents of the children taken to hospitals, while the other children on the bus were brought home.

The drivers of the bus and the car weren't injured.
