Bridgeport, CT : 24-year-old Shameal Jackson has died in a car crash at Interstate 95 On Sunday, July 17th, 2016

Connecticut State Police say one man has died in a car crash on Interstate 95 in Bridgeport.

Troopers tell WFSB-TV (http://bit.ly/2aa0m5u ) that 24-year-old Shameal Jackson was in a northbound vehicle at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday when it was struck by another vehicle during a lane change.

Jackson’s vehicle swerved across the highway before hitting the barrier in the center median.

The Bridgeport man was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The highway’s left and center lanes were shut down for several hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
