LOUISVILLE, KY : Bicyclist dies after hit-and-run on National Turnpike on Thursday, 4th September 2024

A bicyclist is dead after he was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver early Thursday morning on National Turnpike.

At about 3:15 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a vehicle collision involving a bicyclist in the 5500 block of National Turnpike, according to an LMPD news release.

Investigators believe a man was riding his bicycle on National Turnpike when he was struck by an unknown vehicle in the southbound lanes of the roadway.
