Five people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash that left one victim briefly entrapped inside a vehicle in D.C.'s Columbia Heights neighborhood, according to D.C. Fire and EMS Department officials early Monday morning.
The crash, which happened on the 2900 block of 13th Street, Northwest, resulted in one vehicle tipping on its side and a small fire extinguished by D.C. police before fire crews arrived, officials said.
According to D.C. fire officials at around 3:15 a.m., five people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
