Troy, MO : Teen killed when the car collided with another vehicle on Route W in Lincoln County on Sunday, Nov 29, 2015

Missouri Highway Patrol Troop C responded to an accident involving a 1997 Saturn SL driven by Cortez L. Allen, 22, of Troy and Dean E. Kinsler, 55, of Elsberry.

According to the report, Allen’s vehicle was traveling northbound on Route W at the intersection of W and Hwy. B and Kinsler’s vehicle was traveling westbound on Route B.

Allen failed to stop at the posted stop sign at the intersection of Route W and Route B and drove into the path of Kinsler’s vehicle.

Kinsler’s vehicle struck the side of Allen’s vehicle.

Taylor R. Dunn, 17, of Silex, an occupant in Allen’s vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by Lincoln County Coroner Kelly Walters.

Allen suffered minor injuries and was transported by Lincoln County EMS to SSM St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis (West).

Danielle J. Reeves, 15, of Troy, another occupant in Allen’s vehicle, suffered serious injuries and was transported by Air Evac to St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Katrina A. Kinsler, 37, of Elsberry, an occupant in Kinsler’s vehicle, suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Lincoln County EMS to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis (West).

Allen’s vehicle was totaled and was removed from the scene of the accident by Jackson’s Towing Service.

Kinsler’s vehicle suffered extensive damage and was also removed from the scene of the accident by Jackson’s Towing Service.
