Yuma, AZ : 2 airlifted from scene of 4-vehicle accident involving a semi-truck in the vicinity of Avenue B and County 20th Street on Friday, 28th February, 2020

Two people were airlifted from the scene and flown to an unknown hospital Friday after they were injured in a four-vehicle crash in the vicinity of Avenue B and County 20th Street, leading deputies from the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office to shut down the roadway for several hours.

YCSO spokesperson Sam Pavlak said the crash happened at approximately 1:35 p.m. and involved a semi truck pulling two trailers filled with rocks, a grey Toyota sedan, a red Toyota sedan and a black Chrysler.
