PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD: 2 firefighters hurt in Beltway crash involving ambulance on Thursday, 15th June 2023

Prince George's County authorities say two firefighters were hurt after the ambulance they were in was struck by a tractor trailer on Interstate 495 (Capital Beltway) Thursday night.

Police say the crash happened around 9 p.m. on the Inner Loop of the Beltway. Prince George's County firefighters were on scene responding to a previous crash when a tractor trailer hit the stopped vehicles. The two firefighters were taken to the hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening. No other injuries were reported.
