Tulsa, OK : Woman dies after two-vehicle collision in Sperry on April, Tuesday 4th 2017
A woman died after a southbound vehicle drifted left of the center line on Oklahoma 11 in Sperry and struck her vehicle.
Emergency responders pronounced the woman dead. Police have not yet identified the woman. Sperry Police Capt. Justin Tulk said a Pontiac Montana, driven by a male, was southbound about 10 p.m. Tuesday on the highway near the East 106th Street North intersection when the Pontiac driver drifted across the center line.
The driver of the Pontiac, whom police did not identify Wednesday morning, struck a northbound Nissan vehicle on the front left bumper, Tulk said. The woman driving the Nissan died at the scene.
Emergency responders transported a male passenger from the Nissan vehicle to an area hospital with what police described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Police gave the driver of the Pontiac Montana a field sobriety test and then released him. Tulk said the driver admitted to drifting across the center line and to taking a prescription medication.
