Avondale,OH : Teens injured in ATV crash on Route 93 in Muskingum County on June, tuesday 13th 2017

Two teens suffered serious injuries Monday morning when the all-terrain vehicle they were riding on Route 93 in Muskingum County struck the back of a passenger vehicle.

The teens, ages 13 and 14, were reportedly ejected from the ATV upon impact.

Neither was wearing safety equipment and both were transported by ambulance to Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

The 13-year-old victim was later flown by medical helicopter to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. The 14-year-old girl was reportedly treated at Genesis Hospital.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol's Zanesville post had not released the names of the teens prior to press time today. No additional information about their injuries or current conditions was available.
