AVONDALE, AZ : 1 dead, at least 1 hurt in 6-car crash on I-10 in Avondale on Wednesday, 21st August 2024

One person has died, and at least one other person has been hurt following a crash involving six vehicles on Interstate 10 in Avondale.

The collision happened just before 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near 107th Avenue.

While other details about the crash have not been released, the Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed that one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
