Madison, WI : Semi crashes into school bus, 20 injuries reported on Wednesday, 23rd May 2018

Police said they were searching for a semi-truck in the minutes before it struck a school bus and injured 20 on the interstate near DeForest on Wednesday morning.

The crash on I-39/90/94 in Columbia County left 20 people injured, police said, with four serious injuries. The students are enrolled in HOPE Christian Schools in Milwaukee, according to the school's website.

Wisconsin State Patrol Sgt. Greg Jenswold said police received reports of an erratically driving semi-truck minutes before the crash occurred around 10:20 a.m.

The description given to authorities matched the semi involved in the crash.
