Stratford, CT : David Mazza, 56, died in motorcycle crash on I-95 in Stratford on Saturday, OCT 10, 2015

State Police have identified the two Stratford residents killed in a Saturday evening motorcycle accident on Interstate 95.
David Mazza, 56, of Wellington Street, and Linda M. Chizmadia, 53, of Castle Lane ejected from their motorcycle when it hit a car near southbound Exit 30. Mazza was operating the motorcycle with Chizmadia riding along.
Both were taken to Bridgeport Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
According to an accident report, shortly after 6 p.m., the motorcycle was traveling in the left, southbound lane when it “came into contact” with a Jeep operated by Christopher Caputo, 36, of Westbury, N.Y. The impact ejected the two off the motorcycle. Caputo, who was driving his vehicle in the center lane at the time of the crash, was not injured.
Mazza was the “beloved partner” of the Chizmadia, according to his death notice,. He was was born in Bridgeport, on Oct. 6, 1959, and had been a lifelong area resident.
According to Chizmadia’s death notice, she was born in Bridgeport and was also a lifelong area resident. She was a 1980 graduate of Stratford High School, and was employed by People's Bank in Bridgeport.
“Linda enjoyed traveling, baking and cooking. She was a selfless person, who loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her beloved sons,” part of her obituary read.
State Police said the case remains under investigation.
