Amherst County,VI : 3-year-old died after Easter crash on April, sunday 16th 2017

A 3-year-old Amherst County boy died after a Sunday-afternoon crash in Campbell County, police said.

Timothy J. Fuller, 24, of Abingdon, was driving a 1992 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck south on Leesville Road just south of U.S. 460 when the truck ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree at 2:34 p.m., according to a news release from Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller.Fuller’s 3-year-old son, Noah Fuller, of Madison Heights, was riding in the truck in a child safety seat, and both were taken to Lynchburg General Hospital, Geller said in the release.

Noah died at the hospital, and his father had minor injuries. Geller said the car struck the tree on the passenger side of the vehicle.
