A Hannibal woman suffered moderate injuries Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision on U.S. 61, about a half-mile south of Hannibal.
A Missouri State Highway Patrol report said Helen L. Long, 94, who was driving a 2010 Chrysler Sebring, was crossing U.S. 61 when she failed to yield to a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Joseph D. Onken, 39, of Mason City, Ill., that was traveling south. Both vehicles came to rest in the median.
Long was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in the St. Louis area.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
The crash occurred at 10:42 a.m.
